Brenda Echol's Retirement

September 4, 2020

After 35 years of service at Marion State Bank, Brenda Echols, VP of Deposit Operations, is retiring. Known for her brassy personality, Brenda made countless significant contributions to the bank over the last three decades, namely revolutionizing the operations of the Retail side. In 1989, she was instrumental in the implementation of the bank’s first in-house computer. Since that time, she has maintained a momentum that has kept the bank moving in a progressive direction while seamlessly keeping up with the ever changing regs in the banking world. Brenda wore many hats and she will be missed dearly by her staff, co-workers, management, and last but not least, her customers. The Board of Directors and the MSB Family wish Brenda all the happiness in her retirement years as she finally has the freedom to storm chase, hang out with her dog, Brees, and travel to south Louisiana with her husband, Shine. Enjoy those LSU and Saints games, Brenda! You deserve it!
